ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has crossed the milestone of 900,000 PTCL Flash Fiber subscribers, further strengthening its position as Pakistan’s leading fiber broadband provider amid growing demand for high-speed internet services.
The company said the achievement reflects increasing customer confidence in its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) service and supports its long-term vision of expanding digital connectivity across the country in line with the government’s Digital Pakistan initiative.
PTCL said its expanding fiber network has made Flash Fiber a preferred broadband service for households, businesses, students, professionals, gamers and content creators who depend on reliable, high-speed internet for work, education and entertainment.
The company’s network performance has also received international recognition from Ookla, which awarded PTCL Flash Fiber the titles of Pakistan’s Best Fixed Network and Best ISP Gaming Experience. The awards were based on the Speedtest Connectivity Report, which evaluated network speed, reliability, latency and overall customer experience.
Commenting on the achievement, PTCL President and Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Nadeem Khan said the milestone reflects the trust that customers have placed in the company’s broadband services.
“As Pakistan’s digital needs continue to grow, we remain committed to expanding our fiber footprint, investing in next-generation network infrastructure and delivering a consistently superior broadband experience for individuals, businesses and communities across the country,” he said.
PTCL Flash Fiber is currently available in 78 cities nationwide, providing high-speed fiber connectivity to millions of users. The company said continued investment in next-generation infrastructure, network reliability and customer experience has driven sustained subscriber growth as Pakistan’s digital economy continues to expand.
With increasing demand for remote work, online education, cloud services, digital entertainment and competitive gaming, PTCL said it will continue expanding its fiber network to support the country’s evolving digital landscape.
