ISLAMABAD: The High Commission of Pakistan in Australia, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Pakistan in Melbourne, organized the Pakistan Mango and Multicultural Food Festival 2026, attracting more than 30,000 visitors in a vibrant celebration of culture, cuisine and friendship.
According to a press release received on Sunday, Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan attended the festival as the chief guest. The event was also attended by a large number of ministers, members of parliament, diplomats and representatives from diverse communities.
A major highlight of the festival was the Multicultural Pavilion, which featured colorful cultural displays and performances from Pakistan, China, Türkiye, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, reflecting Australia’s rich multicultural society.
The festival celebrated the world-renowned sweetness of Pakistani mangoes, while promoting cultural diversity and strengthening the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and Australia.
The event provided visitors with an opportunity to experience Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, traditional hospitality and internationally acclaimed mango varieties, further enhancing people-to-people ties between the two countries.
