RAWALPINDI: Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force, Ahmed Mohamed Ebrahim Al Bin Ali, visited Naval Headquarters in Islamabad and held talks with Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff, on bilateral naval cooperation and regional maritime security.
On arrival, the visiting commander was received by the NAVAL Chief. A Pakistan Navy contingent presented a guard of honour, after which the Bahraini naval commander laid a floral wreath at the Shuhada Monument in remembrance of Pakistan Navy personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty.

During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, with a focus on regional maritime security and potential areas for professional collaboration between the two navies. Officials said the talks also covered avenues to enhance bilateral naval engagement.

The visit included discussions on strengthening professional interaction and defence cooperation. Both sides agreed to continue engagement through institutional and operational-level contacts.
