Model and actress Mahreen Raheel has claimed that during her childhood, she and her brother Daniyal Raheel would often cross into India through the Wagah Border while playing, but no one ever stopped them.
Mahreen Raheel recently appeared on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, where she spoke openly on various topics.
During the show, she revealed that after the birth of her daughter, she had taken a break from showbiz for a while, but she did not quit the industry. According to her, she wanted to provide her daughter with everything her parents had given her during her own childhood, which is why she decided to take a break from showbiz.
She mentioned that now that her daughter is growing up, she has returned to the entertainment industry, clarifying that she never left it for good.
Mahreen Raheel began her career in modeling at a young age. Initially, she did photo shoots for brands and later received offers to work in advertisements, eventually making her way into drama acting.
She also worked in films but shared that she did not enjoy the experience personally.
Talking about her childhood and family, Mahreen revealed that her father served in the Pakistan Army, so their family frequently moved between different cities.
She mentioned that although she was born in Kharian, her childhood was spent in many different cities. She and her brother Daniyal Raheel would often play in military barracks.
Her father, a Major General, was highly respected, and as a result, everyone treated them with love and respect, allowing them to play freely anywhere.
Recalling a childhood story, Mahreen shared that once her father was transferred to the Wagah Border, and while playing, she and her brother would cross into Indian territory.
Mahreen Raheel claimed that at the time, the situation was different, and they would cross the border while playing or searching for fruits, without anyone stopping them. According to her, Indian civilians or soldiers never said anything to them, as the situation back then was not like it is now.
