Ambassador Jiang Zaidong attends the award ceremony for the China-Pakistan 75th anniversary commemorative badge competition.

On January 29, Chinese Ambassador in Pakistan Jiang Zaidong and Pakistani Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch jointly attended and addressed the award ceremony for the China-Pakistan 75th Anniversary Commemorative Badge Design Competition.

Jiang Zaidong congratulated the successful hosting of the badge design competition, noting that the three winners, from different regions and industries, vividly embody the consensus of the Pakistani people that “China-Pakistan friendship is a consensus among all citizens,” making the ironclad friendship between the two countries more tangible and relatable. The active participation and support of the people of both countries are a source of strength for advancing bilateral cooperation. We are willing to work with Pakistan to practice the people-centered diplomacy concept, accelerate the building of a China-Pakistan community with a shared future, and better benefit the people of both countries.

Amna thanked China for its support, stating that the competition, targeting young people, received over 2,000 submissions, highlighting the deep-rooted foundation of the Pakistan-China friendship, especially the sincere and friendly sentiments of the younger generation towards China. Pakistan is willing to use this event as an opportunity to successfully organize a series of commemorative activities for the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, ensuring that the Pakistan-China friendship is carried forward and passed down through generations.
