Intermittent Rain Continues Across Islamabad as Administration Keeps Teams on High Alert

ISLAMABAD: Intermittent rain continued in different areas of the federal capital as the district administration remained on high alert to deal with any rain-related situation.

On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, all Assistant Commissioners and magistrates have been placed on alert and directed to closely monitor the situation in their respective areas.

Assistant Commissioners are conducting special monitoring of low-lying areas and drains to identify any potential risk of water accumulation or flooding.

Sanitation teams have also been deployed in the field to ensure timely drainage of rainwater and respond promptly to any emergency situation.

The district administration said that traffic flow on all major roads of Islamabad remains normal, with relevant teams monitoring road conditions during the ongoing rainfall.

Citizens have been advised to remain cautious during rainfall and follow instructions issued by the district administration.
