ISLAMABAD: The District Health Office Islamabad has intensified dengue prevention activities across the federal capital, with surveillance and vector control teams conducting field operations in various areas.
The teams are carrying out dengue surveillance, identification and elimination of mosquito larvae, inspection of water storage sites and timely action on public complaints. Officials are also monitoring compliance with dengue prevention SOPs to reduce the risk of dengue transmission.
The ongoing campaign aims to identify potential mosquito breeding sites at an early stage and take preventive measures before dengue cases increase.
