The IPC ministry denied reports that Arshad did not receive financial support during his training.
In a statement accompanied by statistics, the ministry claimed that the government has provided full financial and technical support to Arshad Nadeem throughout his career.
The ministry further claimed that in the last three years alone, Arshad Nadeem received prize money totaling Rs. 22 Crore.
Besides, the statement said that Rs 690 Crore has been allocated to the athletics federation for the financial year 2023-24.
