Renowned actress Hira Somroo has expressed her disappointment over the roles she has received in dramas, stating that she has yet to play a character of her choice.
Hira Somroo appeared on Dunya News‘ talk show, where she discussed various aspects of her career and personal life.
She revealed that vlogging is more challenging than acting.
“I started vlogging, but after making just three videos, I realized how difficult it was, so I quit,” she admitted.
She also mentioned that there are many things in life that we want to say but cannot express.
The actress claimed that every drama she has worked in has been successful and never flopped.
However, she expressed her frustration, saying, “People respect me, but I have yet to receive a role that is close to my heart.”
Hira Somroo added, “Maybe people still don’t trust me enough, but I believe my time will come.”
Speaking about her personal life, she shared that she has faced many hardships.
“If you want to achieve something in life, suffering is necessary,” she remarked.
She also expressed her desire to play a romantic role if given the opportunity.
It is noteworthy that Hira Somroo is often seen in supporting roles. She played the character of Maryam in the popular drama Tere Bin, where she portrayed the hero’s sister, a role that was widely appreciated.
The actress had previously revealed that she initially started modeling in secret, without her father’s knowledge, which led to a long period of estrangement between them.
