A video of Pakistan quick Hasan Ali reacting aggressively to a rowdy fan mocking his catching skills has surfaced online.
The video was believed to have been filmed as the pacer approached the crowd to sign off after the conclusion of the third Test against Australia in Sydney on Saturday.
However, things took a turn for the worse after a Pakistani supporter mocked Ali’s catching skills.
A Pakistani fan taunted Ali: “Come here, let me teach you how to catch.”
The 29-year-old fast bowler responded sharply to the challenge, saying, “Sure, come over here. Who’s going to teach me how to catch?”
Pakistan suffered a 3-0 whitewash against the home team and extended their losing streak to 17 matches in Australia, having not won a Test since 1995.
Hasan Ali faced widespread criticism for throwing away an easy chance from Australian batsman Matthew Wade during the 2021 FIFA World Cup T20 semi-final.

His missed catch proved costly for Pakistan as Wade hit Shaheen Afridi for three consecutive sixes in the next three deliveries, leading to Pakistan’s elimination from the contest.
As for the SCG Test, Pakistan took a useful 14-run lead in the first innings after Aamer Jamal’s six-wicket haul dismantled the Australian hosts for just 299 on Day 3. However, the visitors could not sustain the momentum, being bowled out just short. 115 in his second innings by 4.
In response, Australia easily reached their target of 130 runs. Retiring opener David Warner and number three batsman Marnus Labuschagne both produced impressive half-centuries during the chase to secure a 3-0 victory in the three-match series.
