Pizza Hut in China has introduced a unique menu item: a pizza topped with deep-fried frog legs.
International food expert David Henke shared an unusual image on X (formerly Twitter) showing the advertisement for this limited-edition pizza.
David wrote that different countries or cultures prefer various types of proteins, and while Pizza Hut is offering deep-fried frog pizza in China for a limited time, the dish is also trending.
The pizza features a whole fried frog in the center, surrounded by other toppings. To further astonish customers, the frog’s “eyes” are made from two halves of a hard-boiled egg, with black olives placed on top.
Korean news outlet My Business Newspaper reported that the pizza was launched in collaboration with Dungeons & Dragons, and it was named “Goblin Pizza,” inspired by a character from the game.
