Following the court’s decision, the three suspects were sent to jail, according to the information provided by the Forest Department.

The case is reportedly linked to allegations of involvement in illegal timber smuggling and an attack on the Forest Department’s patrol team. These allegations remain subject to the legal process and determination by the competent court.

On October 1, the DFO Patrol Squad Upper Hazara appeared before the court in person and pursued the case on behalf of the Forest Department.

The development marks another step in the legal proceedings concerning the alleged attack on forest officials while they were carrying out their duties. The case also highlights the challenges faced by forest enforcement teams in preventing illegal timber activities and protecting forest resources in the Hazara region.
