ATTOCK: Additional Deputy Commissioner (Municipal Services) Attock, Aneel Saeed, conducted a comprehensive inspection of various government offices to review arrangements for providing residential accommodation and office facilities to newly posted government officers across the district.
Officials from relevant departments accompanied the ADC during the visit and briefed him on the preparations made for the incoming officers. They informed him that official residences had been renovated where required, essential maintenance work completed, cleanliness ensured, and basic utilities provided. They also stated that government offices had been made fully operational to facilitate the officers in carrying out their official responsibilities.
During the inspection, Aneel Saeed visited office buildings, residential facilities, and other supporting infrastructure. Expressing satisfaction with the overall arrangements, he directed the concerned departments to ensure that all remaining work is completed in accordance with prescribed standards.
He emphasized that providing suitable residential and office facilities to government officers is a key administrative responsibility, as a conducive working environment enables officials to perform their duties more effectively and deliver timely, efficient public services.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner further instructed the relevant authorities to complete any outstanding minor works without delay and ensure that all residential and office facilities remain fully functional so that newly appointed officers can assume their responsibilities without inconvenience.
