LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz, after assuming office as the Chief Minister of Punjab, took a major decision on the very first day when she banned the hiring of political workers across the province.
Under the chairmanship of Maryam Nawaz, a meeting was held at the civil secretariat to discuss the details of the five-year development programs of the province, mega projects in Punjab and projects financed and operated on the basis of foreign loans.

Maryam Nawaz emphasized accountability, transparency and standard operating procedures while issuing the order to stop political appointments.
The Chief Minister of Punjab expressed strong displeasure over traffic restrictions and ordered to streamline traffic management.
