Islamabad : As the primary guest, Pakistan’s Senate Chairman, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, attended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s National Day celebrations. In his remarks, he sent warm respects and best wishes to His Royal Highness King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Royal Family, and the Saudi nation on behalf of the Senate and the people of Pakistan.
On the request of KSA Ambassadar H.E. Mr. Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Federal Minister for Commerce Dr. Gohar Ejaz attended the reception on the 93rd National Day of the Kingdam of Saudi Arabia.
Chairman Senate thanked His Excellency, Mr. Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, for extending the invitation and praised Saudi Arabia’s innovative portrayal on the event’s invitation card, emphasizing its comprehensive growth and inclusive vision.
He underscored Pakistan and Saudi Arabia’s enduring and complex tie, which is based on common values, faith, and aspirations. The Chairman thanked Saudi Arabia for its considerable assistance during difficult times and underlined Pakistan’s unflinching resolve to reciprocate in diplomatic and security matters, citing recent high-level military engagements.
He stated that the alliance is strengthened by an unshakeable commitment to regional peace and stability, emphasizing both countries’ willingness to support each other in diplomatic and security affairs.
Senator Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Chairman of the Senate, praised Saudi Arabia’s efforts to foster regional harmony via diplomacy, dialogue, and mutual respect. He expressed optimism that these activities would pave the way for mutually advantageous prospects for trade, cultural exchanges, shared projects, and collaborative endeavors, all of which would contribute to global progress. He emphasized the need of diplomacy, negotiation, and mutual respect in laying the groundwork for long-term peace and regional prosperity.
In his address, the Chairman said that the Crown Prince’s vision, epitomized by the Neom City project and initiatives like the Misk, showcases a holistic approach to modern society while remaining grounded in Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage. Highlighting the close ties between Chagai and Saudi dignitaries,the Chairman Senate looks forward to further collaboration with Ma’aden, a rapidly growing Saudi mining company, for mutual development and prosperity in mineral-rich areas.
He also emphasized the importance of youth engagement and joint ventures in education, research, technology, and innovation as avenues to deepen cooperation between the two nations.
