LAHORE: The Centre for Environmental and Climate Change (CECC) has appreciated the Environment Protection and Climate Change Department (EP&CCD) Punjab for engaging Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited to explore cooperation in environmental protection, climate action, sustainability and climate-smart agriculture.
The engagement aims to explore ways to turn environmental and climate policy goals into practical action through collaboration between the government and industry.
Potential areas of cooperation include farmer awareness, technical knowledge-sharing, responsible resource use, cleaner production and the promotion of climate-resilient agricultural practices.
CECC noted that partnerships between public institutions and the private sector can contribute to stronger environmental outcomes and support Punjab’s sustainability goals.
