LAHORE: The third meeting of the Working Groups on Natural Capital and Sustainable Growth was held to review progress on climate-related actions and strengthen coordination among government departments.
The working groups were established under the Climate Resilient Vision and Action Plan 2024. The meeting was chaired by Director General CPTC Amina Munir.
During the meeting, representatives reviewed the progress of participating departments through the Climate Resilient Dashboard. The dashboard provided live updates on key sustainability indicators and helped track progress against planned actions.
Departmental representatives also discussed challenges faced during implementation, including operational issues, resource constraints and delays in carrying out planned activities.
A key focus of the meeting was improving coordination between departments. Amina Munir urged all participating departments to move forward with their assigned actions and work closely with one another to meet agreed targets and deadlines.
The meeting also included discussions on practical solutions to implementation challenges. Participants shared ideas on how to improve coordination and turn climate and sustainability policies into measurable action.
The session ended with a renewed commitment to stronger institutional cooperation and continued efforts towards sustainable growth and a more climate-resilient future.
