Youth Leadership and Climate Action Highlighted on International Youth Day 2026

ISLAMABAD: The Progressive Climate Foundation (PCF), in collaboration with CWLP, marked International Youth Day 2026 by highlighting the vital role of young people in driving meaningful action on climate change and sustainable development.

As part of the initiative, the PCF Balochistan Chapter organized a training session on Youth Leadership and Climate Action, aimed at equipping young participants with knowledge, confidence and practical skills to translate their ideas into meaningful environmental action.

The training focused on strengthening youth leadership and encouraging young people to play an active role in addressing climate challenges and building climate-resilient communities.

Organizers emphasized that empowering young people can strengthen communities, encourage innovative solutions and contribute to a more sustainable future.

The initiative also underscored the importance of meaningful youth participation in climate action and sustainable development, particularly in communities increasingly affected by environmental and climate-related challenges.

The organizers reaffirmed their commitment to supporting youth-led initiatives and creating opportunities for young people to contribute to climate resilience and environmental protection.
