Lieutenant General Fahad Bin Saud Al-Johani, Commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces, met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi. The meeting took place on Wednesday.
Discussion focuses on security and bilateral military cooperation
According to information shared by the military, both sides reviewed matters of mutual interest, regional security developments, and areas where defence cooperation could be expanded. Officials noted that the discussions covered ongoing collaboration and potential avenues for enhancing coordination between the armed forces of both countries.

Training, capacity building, and information exchange highlighted
During the meeting, the COAS underscored the importance of continuing cooperation in military training, capacity-building programmes, and intelligence-sharing mechanisms. The delegation from Saudi Arabia discussed existing partnerships and explored opportunities for further institutional cooperation.
Saudi delegation engages with Pakistan Army leadership
The visiting commander also exchanged views on regional security dynamics and the role of bilateral defence ties. Upon arrival at GHQ, he was presented with a guard of honour before holding formal discussions with senior leadership.
