Dr. Khoula Begum, a scholar of the Department of Human Nutrition, The University of Agriculture Peshawar, completed her PhD in Human Nutrition under the supervision of Supervisor Dr. Imran Khan.
Her dissertation was evaluated by renowned professors from Pakistan, England and Italy.
She presented her research dissertation titled:
” Effects of Buckwheat-Containing Bread: on Cardio Metabolic Biomarkers in Healthy and Diabetic Individuals.”
In the defense seminar, Dr. Khoula successfully defended her research by answering the questions raised by the participants and declared her eligible for the PhD’s degree.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ayub, Chairman Dr. Ziauddin, Dr. Muhammad Arif, Dr. Samiullah, Miss. Maria Munir, Miss. Najma and Mr. Bilal along with scholars and students attended the seminar.
The participants congratulated the supervisor Dr. Imran Khan and scholar Dr. Khoula Begum on the successful defense of the research, expressing hope that her research will be useful and helpful in nutrition.
