Pakistan’s first AI teacher, created with the help of artificial intelligence, who excels in teaching all subjects.
Ms. Aini is a robotic teacher developed using AI technology. She answers students’ questions promptly and teaches nearly all subjects with great proficiency.
Ms. Aini is Pakistan’s first AI teacher who teaches students from Montessori to matriculation level at a private school located in the Abu al-Hasan Isfahani area of Karachi.
In a conversation with Geo Digital, the school’s Vice Principal, Sadaf Bhatti, explained that the purpose of introducing Ms. Aini is to bring change to Pakistan’s education system.
She said that artificial intelligence has now become a reality, and we should utilize it in the education sector. If we introduce such AI teachers in government schools, it could help improve educational standards and address other existing issues.
Who Created the AI Teacher?
The robotic teacher was developed through the joint efforts of the Head of Robotics and AI Department, Hassan Siddiqui, and the Vice Principal.
Teacher Hassan Siddiqui explained that creating such robots in Pakistan is a challenging task because the parts related to robots or AI are not easily available here.
He said that they included various AI models in the robot, which allows it to answer questions related to any subject that students may have.
Hassan Siddiqui further added that due to the unavailability of parts for this robot, they had to put in significant effort.
