Mumbai: Sunny Deol has returned to the set for additional shooting of his upcoming film Lahore 1947.
The film’s producer and Bollywood actor Aamir Khan suggested adding some extra scenes to enhance the emotional intensity of the story.
Directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, Lahore 1947 portrays the emotional upheavals and courage of human lives during the partition of India.
According to sources, after watching the first version of the film, Aamir Khan advised that some scenes be made more emotional and compelling. A report stated, “Aamir Khan discussed his views with Raj Kumar Santoshi, and they both agreed to add extra shots to increase the film’s impact.”
Sunny Deol immediately adjusted his schedule for the film’s shoot. The team will shoot a song at Mehboob Studios in early December, alongside filming new scenes to enhance key moments of the story.
This phase of shooting will last for 10 to 15 days, after which Sunny Deol will head to Kashmir to begin shooting Border 2.
Lahore 1947 will feature Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta in pivotal roles. The film will showcase the turmoil, pain, and extraordinary courage of people during the partition of India.
