The Lahore High Court has declared a holiday for courts on August 26 in honor of the annual study of Hazrat Ali Hajveri, also known as Dataganj Bakhsh. The notice was issued after Acting Chief Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh approved it.
According to official sources, sessions courts and civil courts in Lahore will also close on August 26. The decision was taken to facilitate the annual commemoration of one of Pakistan’s most revered saints.
