Tourism surge: Over 400,000 visitors flock to KP over Eidul Azha

More than 400,000 tourists visited various tourist spots in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from June 17 to June 19 during the recently concluded Eid-ul-Azha holiday.

Attracting 174,000 tourists alone, Naran Kaghan has emerged as the most popular destination. The beautiful Naran Kagan Valley and its tranquil landscape continue to attract visitors looking for a break from city life.

In Galiyat, a total of 162,000 tourists enjoy cultural monuments and historical monuments that represent the city’s rich heritage. In addition, Malam Jabba in Swat welcomed more than 46,000 visitors, while Dir Atas saw 23,000 tourists exploring its natural beauty.

The increase in the number of tourists reflects the growing appeal of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a major destination for domestic tourists offering a mix of scenic beauty, cultural heritage and adventure opportunities.

Local authorities and businesses work to provide an unforgettable experience for visitors while managing the flow responsibly.
