LAHORE – The government has proposed to increase the sales tax on many essential items such as sugar and wheat.
The price of sugar and sugar will increase after a one percent additional tax is imposed.
Children’s snacks such as tea, coffee, cakes, pasta and jams, jellies, and marmalades are likely to cost more due to the increase in sales tax.
Clothing, leather, paper towels, children’s toys, tableware, and watches will also become more expensive due to the one percent sales tax.
