TAXILA: A total of 450 saplings were planted in a single day in Taxila as part of a plantation campaign organized by Voice Organization in collaboration with the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Taxila.
The initiative was aimed at promoting environmental protection, expanding green cover and encouraging community participation in tree plantation efforts.
Organizers described the campaign as an important step towards building a greener and healthier Pakistan, stressing that tree plantation is essential to address environmental challenges and improve the quality of life for future generations.
The campaign also highlighted the importance of collective efforts by civil society organizations, government institutions and local communities in promoting environmental sustainability.
Participants emphasized that planting trees is only the first step, while their regular care and protection are essential to ensure a high survival rate and lasting environmental benefits.
The organizers expressed their commitment to continuing plantation and environmental awareness activities in the area to contribute towards a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Taxila.
