Six-Legged Dog Finds a New Home

A six-foot dog left outside a store last year has found a new home.

Ariel the dog, named after the Disney character, was abandoned outside a shop in Pembrokeshire last September. At the time, Ariel was only 11 weeks old and was taken in by the local Green Acre Rescue for protection.

In addition to his six legs, Ariel has another characteristic – only one kidney. Ariel has now been handed over to new owner Ollie Byrd, who runs an adaptive surfing school in West Wales.

The new owner, 40, said he and his family are the only people who haven’t heard Ariel’s story. Ariel arrives as the family mourns the loss of their dog.
