Punjab govt rewards bureaucrats with plot allotment scheme

In a bid to reward its bureaucracy, the Punjab government has announced a new scheme for allotment of plots for civil service, PMS and police officers.

This scheme will allocate plots of different sizes to different officers.

The scheme offers two kanal, one kanal and 10 marla plots.

The land distribution includes 30% quota for Pakistan Administrative Services and PMS officers, 10% quota for police officers and 30% quota for X-cadre government employees.

The plots will be available on simple installments spread over eight years with the value fixed at Rs 800,000 per marla. Specifically, officers in Grades 21-22 will be eligible for dual canal plots.

The Planning and Development (P&D) Department has released an official letter along with the application form for this scheme.
