Photojournalists are vanguard of journalist community, Ch Tanveer

Rawalpindi: Former Senator and PMLN central leader Chaudhry Tanveer Khan said that photojournalists are the vanguard of the journalist community who highlight the problems of the society by performing their duties day and night. He expressed these views while addressing a dinner hosted by PFUJ Dastur President Haji Nawaz Raza and PMLN leader Malik Irfan Afsar at Rawalpindi Press Club in honor of the newly elected office bearers of Rawalppindi islamabad photojournalist Association.

He announced a grant of Rs. 500,000 on his behalf and said that he will raise the voice of photojournalists at the government level and get their long-standing problems resolved.

President Ripja Sajjad Haider said in his welcome address that the photojournalists of the twin cities have elected him for the twentieth time. He will never disappoint them and will take all factions along with him.

“As always, this year too, he will organize a photo exhibition, sports festival, training workshop” He added

On this occasion, Pmln leader Sajjad Khan Shoaib Butt, Pir Mujtaba Farooq Badshah, DSP Azhar Shah,NPC Finance Secretary Waqar Abbasi, RIUJ President Rana Kausar, Secretary Raheel Swati, Photo Journalists Association Secretary General Sohail Shahzad, Senior Vice President Jahangir Chaudhry, Finance Secretary Muhammad Asim, Vice President Mudassar Raja, Joint Secretary Faisal Khan, Information Secretary Syed Mehdi, members of the governing body Rizwan Khan, Raja Zafar, Hanif Khattak, Abid Zia, Tahir Kazmi, Senior Photojournalist Agha Mehroz & Zulfiqar Khan, Opposition Leader Faheem Malik and others were present.
