In a move aimed at providing relief to the people, the federal government announced a major reduction in the price of petroleum products.
According to a report issued by the Federal Department of Finance, the price of gasoline decreased by $15.39 and the price of high-speed diesel by $7.88. In addition, the price of diesel fuel was reduced by $7.54.
After this adjustment, the new price is $273.10 for gasoline, $274.08 for high-speed diesel, and $161.17 for light diesel.
“The new oil prices will be effective for the next two nights from May 16,” he said.
Earlier this month, on May 1, the government reduced the price of gasoline by $ 5.45, and a significant decrease in the price of diesel.
