Popular Pakistani actress Maryam Nafees Jabbar has strongly objected to work on a drama scripted by Khalilur Rehman Qamar.

In an episode of a private TV show, actress Halilur Rehman said that she will not participate in the project written by Qamar.

When host Ahmed Ali Butt was asked about his decision, Maryam Nafees explained that the misunderstanding was not from Qamar’s performance, but from his perspective and some of his statements.

“Pride is not about his drama, but about his attitude and words,” Ms Nafees said.

“I don’t consider him a bad person and I don’t condemn anyone,” he said, stressing his respect.

The actress further said that she has no personal enmity with Halilur Rehman Kamara and does not consider him as a negative person. However, he expressed some views, especially regarding women’s rights.
