Google denies reports regarding Gmail closing

Tech giant Google has dismissed all rumors on social media about the discontinuation of Gmail services.

Information suggests that an unverified email screenshot was posted on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, along with a statement that Gmail services would soon be discontinued.

Even so, this screenshot was obtained from an actual email that Google generated to remove the underlying HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) display, and part of it was used to spread misinformation about Gmail.

According to the post, the company has informed users of Gmail’s crucial fact that services will be shut down within hours.

The public took these fake news as fact as Google claimed that several of its services will be shut down despite being quite popular among the masses.

Google created a website called “Killed by Google” where the company lists all 293 items that were later devalued.

But Google had only one answer to all these fake posts: “Gmail is here to stay.”
