Even the newly installed iron fences at the National Stadium couldn’t stop passionate cricket fans from entering the field.
Following the renovation and construction, a video of spectators invading the ground during the stadium’s opening ceremony has gone viral.
The video shows multiple instances where fans climbed over the 10-foot-high iron fences during last night’s ceremony, prompting security personnel to rush in an attempt to control the situation.
After immense efforts, the individuals who breached the barrier were apprehended. However, at one point, a fan who entered the ground was invited onto the stage.
Later, on Wednesday, during the national series match between Pakistan and South Africa, security officials took additional measures to enhance safety protocols.
