Earthquake again jolts parts of Balochistan

QUETTA – An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale hit the Zhob district of Balochistan in the early hours of Sunday.

The National Seismic Monitoring Center said the depth of the earthquake was 24 kilometers, while the epicenter was located 33 kilometers northeast of Zhob.

Meanwhile, tremors were also felt in Loralai district of the province. The intensity was recorded at 4.2 on the Richter scale and its depth was 18 kilometers.

People came out of their homes in a panic and started reciting verses from the Koran.
