UPPER DIR : The district adminstration ,TMA Dir and Dir Police have lanched drive against illegal encroachments in Dir Bazar, the first time, Bazar was seen clean and tidy, citizens praised police and administration for their efforts.
in Dir Bazar, Wednesday, on the special instruction of DPO Upper Dir, Waqar Ahmed, and DC Upper Dir, Irfan Ali, the Dir police , levies and Tma staff along with SDPO Circle Dir, Traffic Incharge Badshah Zeib, Tehsildar Dir, strict action and conducted a joint operation against illegal encroachments in Dir Bazar.The encroachments in front of shops and on the main Bazar road were removed, and action was taken against wrong parking and handcarts. The operation was successful in restoring traffic flow in the market, which was previously disrupted due to encroachments and illegal activities.

Citizens appreciated the efforts of the administration, TMA, and police and demanded that the operation be continued on a daily basis. They also urged the authorities to maintain the beauty of the market without any political pressure, as illegal encroachments and handcarts had completely ruined the market’s appearance.
