Ethiopia and Pakistan discuss maritime cooperation
ISLAMABAD: H.E. Jamal Baker Abdullah, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Chief of Staff H.E. Naveed Ash Admiral Raff at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad. On the other hand, Naval Forces Commander Admiral H.E. Navid Ashraf recognized Ethiopia’s role in regional integration through various initiatives.The Ethiopian government congratulated Roosevelt on the success of the AU meeting.The Chief of General Staff used the opportunity to acknowledge the importance of the African Union Summit. Like Pakistan, the Ethiopian government is very important in terms of relations between the parties with the legacy of one of the ancient civilizations.He said that both countries are the heirs of centuries of prosperity and have great potential for growth and development. Cooperation between the two parties also includes maritime activities.
