28 Horses Buried 2000 Years Ago Found in France

Paris: Archaeologists in France found nine tombs containing the remains of 28 horses buried nearly 2,000 years ago.

According to media reports, the tomb was found in Wildieu-sur-Indre, in the central region of France.

The horse bones are radiocarbon dated, indicating they were buried between 100 and 100 BC.

Antiquities experts noted that the horse was buried at the same time shortly after death. Among the graves of these horses, another grave containing two dogs of different sizes was found.

The remaining tombs have not been fully excavated by archaeologists. However, a total of 28 horses were originally found on the surface of the skull and bones.
