California: YouTube has implemented a new privacy policy that requires users to delete videos generated by AI. According to media reports, YouTube has assured users that the new rules will be enforced. The company announced that if someone’s video has been altered or created using AI to look like the original user, they can request a takedown within 48 hours.
In order for such videos to be removed, the policy must demonstrate the correct similarity of the content converted to the specified AI version. When reviewing complaints, we will also consider the following factors:
– Whether the video has been edited by AI
– Does the video appear to be edited or AI generated for viewers
– Whether the video can be identified as belonging to the user
– Is the video properly edited?
– Whether the video contains satirical, humorous or general interest content
