MARDAN: To promote a corruption-free society and raise awareness, the Water and Sanitation Services Company Mardan (WSSCM) here on Sunday took out an awareness walk attended by management staff of the company.
The walk led by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shahid Khan. The participants of the walk hold banners with the slogan against corruption.
Addressing the occasion, CEO WSSCM Shahid Khan highlighted the importance of public awareness about the ill and serious effects of corruption.
For the transparency in the society, we have to pave the way to eliminate the menace of corruption by promoting merit and self-accountability in order to remove the major obstacle in the development of the country. He added,
He said company has adopted zero tolerance policy towards corruption.
He urged the public to report any instances of corruption and financial misconduct to ensure accountability.
Shahid Khan stated that corruption is cancer which destroys societies. For which, we have to raise our voice against corruption and raise awareness at the public level.
