KOHAT: Member of National Assembly Shahriar Khan Afridi and Member of Provincial Assembly Shafiq Janan inaugurated the newly constructed pipeline of Kohat Water and Sanitation Company along with officials of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf at Gardan Colony.
The pipeline was built by WSCCK with funds from the district’s development project, it said in a statement Tuesday.
Speaking at the meeting, NA Member Shahriar Khan Afriid and MPA Shafiq Janan hoped that the pipeline would meet the demand of Gardan Colony residents for clean drinking water to Mohallah Wahzaan, Mohallah Barkatullah and Christian Colony.
The Legislature asked them to complete the repair of pipelines in priority areas under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Citizen Improvement Project to save the citizens from the problem of clean drinking water during summer.
WSSCK Director Arif Rauf graced the occasion and said that the company is doing everything possible to serve the people of Kohat district.
