In his speech on World Environment Day, he stressed the need for innovative solutions to climate change and the need to develop international cooperation to overcome its negative impacts.
The President said that today represents our shared responsibility to protect the environment for future generations.
He said that Pakistan’s determination to solve environmental problems is proven by initiatives such as the Green Pakistan Program, which has made significant strides in afforestation and ecosystem restoration.
