Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has clarified the unpleasant incident that occurred during her meet-and-greet event with fans in the US. Hania Aamir, who is currently in the US with fellow actor Fahad Mustafa, explained the details of the event, which unexpectedly ended, leaving fans upset.
In an Instagram story, Hania thanked her fans for their love and support, and explained what led to the event being cut short. She revealed that one of the event organizers had misbehaved with her female manager, which caused the situation to escalate. Hania shared that her manager went backstage, and both she and Fahad followed to check on her well-being.
Hania further explained that they decided to take pictures with fans backstage, but during that time, the same organizer who had misbehaved with her manager rushed in, called them by name, and told them to leave the event. She stated that the organizer adopted an inappropriate attitude, calling them out by name, canceling security protocols, and even harassing them. As a result, they had to arrange their own return to the hotel for safety.
Hania emphasized that no one, regardless of their position, has the right to disrespect anyone, especially women working in male-dominated fields. She appealed to the media to avoid blaming female artists without knowing the facts. Apologizing to her fans, she expressed her love for them and said she regretted the way the event ended.
Other celebrities, including Maya Ali, Yashma Gill, Nabeel Qureshi, Hira Khan, and Okhano, shared Hania’s story in support and sent encouraging messages.
