Pakistani entertainment actor and morning show host Anoushey Ashraf recently revealed that she received a video call from “Diriliş: Ertuğrul” famous actor Engin Altan Düzyatan but missed it.

She made these remarks while appearing as a guest on a private TV channel for a candid interview that oscillated between personal and professional life.

She added that the Turkish film and TV superstar called her on Eid, but she could not attend and later felt very uncomfortable.

Commenting on the incident, she said: “My friend from Istanbul, Turkey, named Murad, is a really good friend of his, they are neighbours. So I told him once about how Pakistanis are crazy about him and asked him to help me meet him.”

Ashraf added: “He actually Facetimed me on Eid and I was in the middle of a yoga and meditation class so I missed the call.”

“When I turned on my phone, there was this missed call and a video message from him: ‘Hi Anoushey. I called you to talk but I missed it,'” she revealed.

During another segment, Ashraf mentioned that one of the South Asian celebrities she would like to interview is Shahrukh Khan.
