In an effort to improve user experience, WhatsApp has introduced a new ‘Favorite Chats’ filter for Android beta testers. Available in version 2.24.12.7, this feature allows users to easily access their most important chats and groups.
Originally available for the Phone app, the feature has been expanded to the Chats app, allowing users to quickly find their favorite chats, including contacts and specific groups. This feature is an important step in prioritizing and organizing the most important conversations on WhatsApp.
For more convenience, users can add favorites directly in the chat application or through a special “Favorites” section in the application settings.
This section allows users to manage their favorite chats by adding, removing or managing contacts and groups. In addition, users can add chats to favorites directly from the chat information screen, making it quick and easy.
The update is currently rolling out to beta testers and will gradually roll out to more users in the coming days. However, it may not be available to everyone immediately.
This new feature is part of WhatsApp’s efforts to improve the user experience and make it easier for users to stay in touch with their loved ones and important groups. “
