Meta’s messaging app, WhatsApp, is about to introduce a new translation feature that will make it easier for users to understand messages received in any language.
Now, if WhatsApp users receive a message in a language they don’t understand, there will be no issue. With the new translation feature, users can translate all messages and channel updates directly within the app into their preferred language without any interruptions.
This new translation feature has been designed to maintain communication while protecting users’ privacy. According to a report by WhatsApp Beta Info, the feature is being developed to ensure that no data, including users’ messages and channel updates, will be sent to third-party services or even WhatsApp’s own servers while performing the translations.
The report also mentioned that although the feature is still in the development phase, it will soon be available in an update. Once users download their desired language, they will be able to use the feature offline as well.
