Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan couldn’t help but blush when asked about the possibility of a second child after 17 years of marriage.
According to Indian media reports, Abhishek recently appeared on actor Riteish Deshmukh’s chat show Case Toh Banta Hai, where Riteish posed several interesting questions.
During the conversation, Riteish pointed out that Abhishek, along with Amitabh, Aishwarya, and Aaradhya, all have names starting with the letter “A,” but Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan do not. He humorously asked, “What was their fault?”
Abhishek replied, “You should ask them about it, but as far as I know, it’s a tradition in our family, which is why my daughter Aaradhya’s name also starts with ‘A,’ just like mine.”
Riteish then playfully asked about the possibility of a second child after Aaradhya. Abhishek laughed and responded, “Not now, we’ll see in the next generation.”
Riteish tried to convince him by reminding him of his own two sons, but Abhishek smilingly silenced him, saying, “Show some respect for my age; I’m older than you.”
Notably, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai tied the knot in 2007. Recently, rumors of a divorce between the two have been circulating. Aishwarya had shared pictures from Aaradhya’s 13th birthday celebrations on Instagram, but Abhishek was noticeably absent from the photos.
