World Bank has said that fully support Pakistan in its reforms and digitization program to stabilize economy and increase revenue.
The assurance was given in a meeting between Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb and World Bank Group Chairman Ajay Bang in Washington.
The minister highlighted Pakistan’s progress in its nine-month independence plan and reforms underway in the priority areas of taxation, energy and privatisation.
Both parties agreed on the implementation of the country’s framework plan for ten years.
The World Bank chief expressed his full support for reforms and digitization programs in Pakistan to stabilize the economy and increase income.

Meanwhile, in a meeting with Asian Development Bank President Masatsugu Asakawa in the US capital, both parties discussed further strengthening bilateral cooperation with the Asian Development Bank, maintaining our country’s soft financing envelope and future project pipeline.
