Wasim Akram, the former captain of the national cricket team, indirectly criticized the all-rounder Imad Wasim.
Criticizing all-rounder Imad Wasim on a local TV channel without naming him, former cricketer Wasim Akram said that the players want to be fed into the team without participating in the Pakistan Cup, Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, preferring international agreements to the country.
He said that the players who are with Pakistan team are busy but why other players are not participating in domestic matches, one of them is sitting on television and they want to play for Pakistan.
On GTV channel, Imad Wasim, while answering a fan’s question about his absence from domestic cricket, said that I have contracts with foreign leagues due to which I cannot participate in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy and Pakistan Cup.
Imad Wasim played his last ODI against Zimbabwe in Rawalpindi in 2020. He has played 55 matches representing Pakistan in which he has scored 986 runs and 44 wickets.
