ISLAMABAD: Visitors to Margalla Hills National Park have been urged to help protect the park’s natural environment by avoiding cooking activities on hiking trails and taking their waste back with them.
The public awareness message stressed that the Margalla Hills are a protected natural area and should be treated with care and respect. Visitors have been encouraged to avoid leaving food waste, plastic and other rubbish along the trails.
The message also promoted the simple principle: “My waste, my responsibility.” Visitors were urged to carry their waste with them and dispose of it properly after leaving the park.
