Islamabad Police has remanded Khawar Maneka in physical custody for two days for assaulting a lawyer.
The Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad presided over by Judge Abu Al-Hasanat Zulqarnain heard the attack on Khawar Manek, which was presented to the court by the arrested lawyer Fatahullah Barki.
Advocate Naeem Haidar appeared in court on behalf of Panjutha Fatahullah Barki.
The court asked the investigatorshow many arrests should be made. The police sought an eight-day remand for Fatahullah Barki, saying it would take eight days to recover the Rs 20,000 and the chain.
Lawyer Naeem Haidar Panjutha opposed the physical arrest of Fatahullah Barki. After hearing their arguments, the court issued a decision on physical custody, which was announced shortly thereafter.
The court approved two days of physical detention instead of eight days and ordered the accused Fatahullah Barki to appear in court again on June 27.
